Eight new buildings for Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College (SVEC), Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India

With a total floor area of nearly 1.5 million sqft, the projects include:

1.New College Building – Brand new teaching facility to accommodate Engineering and Nursing students with state of the art laboratories and research facilities. G+8 storeys 49,279m²

2.Indoor Auditorium – Sports facility constructed from three floors of sea containers providing gyms, studios, changing and seating around a central hall. G+2 storeys 3,176m²

3.Outdoor Auditorium – External facilities and viewing for sport and other activities. G+2 storeys 5,282m²

4.Boarding House – Residential accommodation for over 4,000 students arranged in three blocks around a central courtyard with communal facilities, swimming pool, 2000 seat canteen and central kitchen. G+5 storeys 57,083m²

5.Parent Student Reception Facility -Transparent pavilion: a highly visible advertisement for the college; a hub to welcome students and their parents. G+1 storeys 1,665m²

6.Staff Quarters – 11 storey block providing 66 apartments for college staff and their families 4x2B + 1x3B / floor G+10 storeys 6,806m²

7.Roadside Café – Coffee bar / café built entirely from sea containers providing an informal pit-stop for students to meet, eat and study. G+1 storeys 410m²

8.NRI Hostel – Residential complex for international students with eating and shopping facilities – G+M+6 storeys 11,918m²
