Haus of Athletics, nine storey basketball centre, Fort Worth, Texas

The only way is up. The instant nine-storey building, sited halfway between Dallas and Fort Worth and fashioned only from sea containers,  pops up to provide four full-sized basketball courts, each with three levels of viewing gallery, surrounded by 30k sq ft of supporting spaces and facilities, with a fifth full sized basketball court and an arena for 3,000 spectators on the seventh floor.
